Besides the many historical and architectural testimonies, absolutely unique in the world, such as: museums, art galleries and centres of antique dealing, the zone that surrounds the Camping River between the Liguria and the Tuscany, is rich in demonstrations that are not only a moment of synthesis of the ancient popular cultural sporting and wine-gastronomic traditions of the territory but also a place of meeting between different realities. We can shortly mention the most noteworthy: the allegorical display of the end of the Carnival called "The Omo ar Bozo" in Ameglia, a representation that takes place on the last Sunday of the Carnival. From time out of mind the people takes advantage of the prank and of the satire to point at the weakness of the power. The legend tells about an injustice perpetrated by a feudal Lord of Ameglia, the popular conscience doesn't forget the offence and organizes an allegorical joke of the tragic story during the Carnival. A man, the first foreigner going into the territory during the Carnival was captured bound and forced to listen to a whole series of sentences and then to accept to be thrown in the "bozo"(a little artificial pond), it is an acute parody of the injustices perpetrated by the feudal Lord. The centuries go by but in the collective memory of Ameglia the commemorative tradition of that ancient injustice doesn't end and the set of the rites and sentences reach the X century. It was suspended and taken up again several times during the centuries, at present it is revalued and revived thanks to the work of Walter Tacchini, an artist who comes of some important artistic experiences in France and Italy, a teacher of experimental sketch in the Carrara Academy. Village Festival and demonstrations :The village festival of the raviolo and the polenta one in Arcola, the village festival of the honey in Calice di Cornoviglio, the Madonna della Guardia ‘s procession, the Alpini's festival, the St. Isidoro's fair, the village festival of the Asado, the village festival of the wine, the village festival of the dried cod fritters, the village festival of the cake in the commune of Follo the St. Giuseppe's fair, the Cercantico, the Pop Eye Festival and finally the village festival of the sea with the Palio of the Gulf in La Spezia. The diving Christmas and the village festival of the snail in Lerici, the Permanent Show of the Material Culture, the St. Giacomo's feast, the village festival of the Sea and the village festival of the Gattafin in Levanto. The Madonna Bianca's procession in Portovenere, the Soffitta in the road, the Calandriniana, the festival of the Mind, the International Festival of Theatre, the traditional fair of the hazelnuts in Sarzana, the Carnival of the Beautiful ones and the Ugly ones, the "Shops of art" and then St. Giovanni Battista's feast in Suvero (Rocchetta of Vara), the diving Christmas in Tellaro, the St. Venerio's feast in the Tino island, the Palio of the Vezzanesi Neighbourhoods, the village festival of the the grape and the Wine in Vezzano Ligure.
